Terms of Service

By using this website or engaging D&D Interior Services for services, you agree to these terms. Services are provided subject to a written service agreement signed by both parties. All work is performed in accordance with Ontario Building Code and applicable regulations.

Service Estimates

All estimates are provided in writing. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Final pricing may be adjusted if site conditions differ materially from those assessed during the estimate visit.

Services Provided

D&D Interior Services provides interior renovation services including hardwood and laminate flooring, tile and stone installation, kitchen renovations, bathroom renovations, countertop installation, lighting upgrades, crown moulding and trim, basement finishing, vanity installation, and custom furniture. All work is performed by our in-house trades team. Services are subject to availability and written project agreement.

Payment & Cancellation

A deposit may be required to secure your renovation booking. Remaining payment is due upon project completion unless otherwise specified in a written agreement. We accept major credit cards, e-transfer, and cash. We request at least 48 hours notice for appointment cancellations.

Liability Disclaimer

D&D Interior Services carries appropriate liability insurance. We are not responsible for:

• Pre-existing structural issues or hidden defects not disclosed prior to project commencement
• Damage to materials or finishes selected by the client that are incompatible with site conditions
• Delays caused by supply chain issues, material back-orders, or permit wait times
• Indirect or consequential losses arising from renovation services

Any workmanship concerns must be reported within 30 days of project completion. Our liability is limited to the cost of the affected scope of work.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, D&D Interior Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific project scope giving rise to that claim.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. D&D Interior Services is a D&D Property Management sister company operating in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario.

Dispute Resolution

We encourage clients to contact us first to resolve any concerns. If unresolved within 30 days, the parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing formal proceedings. Unresolved disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Ontario courts.

• Step 1: Email info@ddinteriorservices.ca with a written description of your concern
• Step 2: We will respond within 5 business days and work toward resolution
• Step 3: If unresolved, voluntary mediation or Ontario court proceedings

Project Timeline & Scope Changes

We provide written project timelines at the start of each renovation. If the client requests changes to the scope of work during the project, we will provide a revised written estimate and timeline before proceeding. Scope changes may affect the overall project cost and completion date.

Force Majeure

D&D Interior Services shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including material supply delays, permit wait times, government orders, or other unforeseen events. We will notify you promptly and work to resume your project as quickly as possible.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website including text, images, 3D design renderings used for illustration, logos, and design is the property of D&D Interior Services and protected by applicable copyright laws. You may not reproduce or distribute content without prior written permission.

Privacy

Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. By using our website or services, you accept our Privacy Policy.

Amendments

We may revise these terms at any time. The "Last Updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
